We remember. . .

 Greg Huff Still With Us

my dad told me once

that he didn’t know what happened after we die,

but that he knew that as long 

as people remembered you,

you still lived,

this afternoon, Greg Huff lived,

within the amazing memorial service 

his family and friends crafted,

Greg Huff showed us all

how well and fully he still lives,

as the words, the eyes, the music, the songs shared

felt him still with us,

they added depth, color, power,

to the sketch of who he was,

who he still is

within all of those he touched,

of those he still hugs,

of those he still makes laugh,

of those he still helps 

approach well the moment, the other, the group,

the way to live life with a full gusto,

with the power that chocolate ice cream

can give us to make our moments worth holding,

today the wonderful reality of Greg Huff

powered through Zoom to reach many of us

and help us know him,

remember him, 

celebrate him.
